Hand Crafted Outdoor Furniture

Each of our outdoor furniture and garden pieces is  carefully hand crafted in our shop to insure a lifetime of quality use for our customers.  Our products range from Adirondack Chairs, Rockers, Porch Swings, End Tables, Coffee tables, Garden tables and also includes a line of Adirondack furniture for children.  We also build a number of very strong and durable  planter products for your garden.

Western Red Cedar: A Gift From Nature

Historically, native people of the Pacific coast prized cedar for its long lasting qualities and incredible beauty. They used wood and bark from cedar trees for most of their building needs. Evidence of Western Red Cedar's durability is the many cedar artifacts still in good condition today. 

Western Red Cedar contains natural oils that act as preservatives to help the wood resist insect attack and decay. Western Red Cedar is very strong, lightweight,  accepts paint and stain readily, and is easy to tool in the wood shop. These characteristics, coupled with its resilience, makes it one of the best woods in the world  for outdoor furniture.

This line of furniture is made from pine rather than cedar or recycled materials. Although still very beautiful and durable, it is less expensive because pine is a less expensive material to work with.

This furniture can be finished or unfinished. If finished, there are a few choices for color, including green, brown and cream. The furniture can be delivered to you locally for a reasonable fee. We can also ship it to you partially assembled and unfinished for the cost of shipping.

Recycled plastic furniture is hand crafted using dimensional plastic lumber made of HDPE (high density polyethylene). It is a dense material formulated from recycled milk jugs and cartons. Because of its dense nature, it is heavier than wood. UV protection is mixed in. HDPE should not be confused with resin and other plastics that oxidize and become impossible to keep clean.

Instead, an occasional cleaning will keep the furniture looking new well into the future. Nothing sticks to or stains HDPE, including red wine. If dirt is allowed to accumulate, rinsing with water usually does the trick, but if necessary, it can be cleaned with any household cleanser. The furniture can be pressure washed but care should be taken to not apply too much pressure as this may "feather" the surface.

The recycled plastic furniture is available in a variety of colors, including: white, key lime, sunny daze, blue sky, coral, cedar, sand, weathered, lavender and woodland green.
